Job Description

We provide both property & related lifestyle services to both private & corporate clients & are looking for a (Junior) Financial Controller to join our team. We would like someone who could start immediately, or within 8 weeks. The normal place of work is at our main offices in Marylebone, London. Responsibilities: - Managing the day to day company accounts across the company departments - Liaison with the Office Manager (OM) & Administration & Accounts Assistant (AAA) - Support company Directors in the management & tasking of the AAA - Administration of accounts payable & receivable invoicing on company system - Management of client fund accounts in line with account preferences/parameters - Creation & distribution of regular client fund account invoicing - Submission to clients of regular client fund statement of accounts - Reconciling of incoming & outgoing payments between bank accounts & Xero - Report into the weekly meeting any pertinent financial information, particularly that relating to client fund accounts - Support company Directors in liaison with company accountants service (sub contracted accountants) - Support Head of Property Management & Operations Director in managing contractor referral agreements - Attend quarterly Board Meetings when required to provide financial reporting - Assist in the assessment of any company direct service contracts - Set & manage day to day company internal financial processes, & schedule accordingly - Support the Head of Property Management & Directors in the processes & undertakings of financial compliance - Contribute to year end financial analysis & general financial strategies - Assist the Directors in general liaison with the company bank(s) & administration of the same where required - Support internal & external company communication, including answering incoming phone calls - Consistently use and update company systems, (primarily Xero, and Cube) The above outlines the key roles & responsibilities, however the list is not exhaustive. It is the intention that the position will form a key part of our team, assisting the wider development of the company, its reputation & profitability. Benefits: - Basic salary of £36,000 (dependent on experience) - Commission opportunity of further £4,000 to £14,000+ (OTE of £40,000 to £50,000+ in year one) - 20 days standard holiday allowance, plus 3-5 additional days over Christmas, plus 1 in addition for every year served To be considered for this role, please apply today.
