We operate a Security, Traffic Management and Location Support Business in the Entertainment Industry and are based at Pinewood Studios.
The film and TV sector is a fast moving and sometimes last minute reactive industry. We require an energetic individual who is: flexible, reliable, driven and able to use their own initiative to assist us moving forward as a high quality company.
Previous experience is an essential requirement, with a proven track record in providing efficient and reliable accountancy support. You will need to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure, however, support will be provided throughout your induction into this role.
Our office is at Pinewood Studios, and free parking will be provided on site, as well as access to coffee shops, a canteen and post-room.
We are restructuring the company, and require a full time Book Keeper, who can work with us to streamline our accounts system. You will be required to work alone at the office on occasion, five days a week. Having the relevant experience to suggest viable accountancy ideas, options and progressions would be desirable.
We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, in order to maintain professional and efficient client relations. We will also require you to liaise in a consistently polite manner with our subcontractors over grievances, such as incorrect invoices and resolve issues in a capable manner.
- Previous Xero experience is essential.
- Confident and competent ability in preparing VAT returns, tax payments and dividends on a Monthly/Quarterly/Annual basis.
Other tasks include:
- Invoicing clients.
- Managing payroll.
- Credit control.
- Consistent communication with our accountant.
- Meticulous book-keeping.
Hours at the office would be 09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
We are offering a package of 25k - 27k a year (dependent on experience) on a yearly 12 month contract, with regular reviews of performance.
