We are a busy and growing Bromley based bookkeepers, with many clients based in and around London. Currently we are looking to recruit 2 full time SAGE bookkeepers for one of our London clients based in Shadwell. The roles are demanding and therefore the ideal candidates will have to hit the ground running and have at least 3 year’s experience using SAGE. Please do not apply if you do not have at least 3 year’s experience using SAGE or if you are looking for more than £26,000 as this is the maximum our client can pay. An outline of duties that must be covered are as followed: - Main objective: To be responsible for producing financial reports through the management and posting of invoices and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy, and doing this in a timely manner. This will include maintaining an orderly accounting system, recording cash receipts, making bank deposits and prioritising invoices according to payment terms. Through financial reporting, the ideal candidate will maintain a thorough understanding of the general ledger, and ensure that all balances are reconciled on a regular basis, plus ensuring timely closing of accounts payable on a monthly, quarterly and year end basis. You will also be able to assist in development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of the department, as well as ensure that payments and returns are made accurately and on time to HMRC in respect of VAT.
