During Q1 of this year, the number of available opportunities in the accounting and finance sector have soared by over 41% according to statistics released by Robert Walters. Interestingly their findings also report similar findings to our own research. Chartered accountants being the biggest increase followed by assistant accountants.
There is currently a lot of available options out there for job seekers. This usually means a naturally buoyant market as more choice tends to mean candidates start to consider their long term options. As demand increases for accountancy practice candidates, its vital that every aspect of your candidate attraction programme is working well.
